OUR VISION
We recognize we are each on a journey in this life that includes a spiritual path to be open to God’s presence, to listen for the voice of Christ, and to daily walk in God’s love and grace as the Holy Spirit guides us. We are forgiven and saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ.
OUR HISTORY
Augsburg is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Augsburg Lutheran was formed in 1964.
Partnerships
Augsburg believes that ministry is stronger and better when we work together with others. We are involved with other congregations.
Coalition of Congregations
Coalition of Congregations includes two congregations in the Pleasant Run community of greater Cincinnati. We join with friends at John Wesley United Methodist Church for Good Friday worship services, Bible study during the season of Lent (the 6 weeks before Easter), Trunk or Treat, assistance to families in the neighborhood, and support each other in their ministries.
Collaborative Ministry Group
Augsburg also is involved with a Collaborative Ministry Group of five Lutheran congregations. Together we celebrated the Season of Creation together in a joint worship service and time of fellowship. We look for ways to work together in mission and to support one another in ministry.
